How do you make your own crystal infused healing water?  It’s easier than you think! 

Now, I know there’s a lot of Instagram posts about this, and amazing gem water bottles, and all that kind of stuff, so I want to talk about crystal infused healing water and why it’s so amazing.  Plus you’ll learn how you can go about making it yourself.

There’s many different types of bottles, and different styles available on the market for making crystal water.  I’m not a sponsor of any of these bottles or anything like that… I just want to give you my real experience behind it. My Life, My Spirit, My Career: How 10 Simple Morning Rituals Helped Me Succeed

A little while ago I shared a bit about my daily morning ritual practice on my Facebook Page & Instagram & many asked for more details. My morning ritual isn’t at all complicated & is actually pretty quick but I keep it the same each morning so now its become an ingrained habit that I don’t even need to think about very much. Comes in quite handy when I have those mornings where I’m barely conscious!

It’s really pretty simple & reminds me to savor life’s little pleasures, to be grateful while also allowing me to live in the present moment.♥

You know… your mood in the morning affects your entire day…so doing this allows me to program & set the tone for the kind of day I’m going to have, fit in some of my spiritual/manifesting/law of attraction practices.
Puts me in the right mindset for a great day ahead.

And this all happens from my bed before I even put my feet on the ground.

I do this ritual every single day & try to stick to this routine as much as I possibly can no matter where I’ve slept; hotel, visiting family, etc. 

If I’m missing some of my tools, no problemo! I just skip that step and do what I’m able to do with what I’ve got.

My 10 Step Morning Ritual

  • NIGHT PREP: The night before I usually select a stone, depending on what kind of energy vibration I want to work with from a little wooden bowl that I keep in my kitchen to make my easy gem elixir water. Since I tend to be pretty lazy, I keep a selection of crystals & essential oils within easy reach on my kitchen counter for everyday practical purposes like this.
  • I wake up and first thing I do is drink water b/c I’m parched. I keep rose quartz (usually) gem elixir water by my bedside from the night before b/c I just like to drink a lot of water. I keep it very simple: just plop a rose quartz tumblie into my water-glass…
  • Totally unrealted but…first thing I usually see when I open my eyes besides my hubbie is Ms. Topaz usually in this very position…I can barely stand such cuteness! ♥

    3. Next I’ll do some quick neck stretches b/c I’ve learned that if I don’t do these everyday I’ll end up with more “pulled neck muscle” pains than I’d like to deal with from sleeping wrong or something like that. I do the first 4 on this page. Now that I do these 30 second neck stretches every morning, the “neck-pulls” only seems to happen about 1/year. Still not great but better than every 3 months or so! 

    Next, I’ll pick up one of 2 crystals I typically have by my bedside: a clear quartz point or my rose quartz chunk-buddy and sit up cross-legged on the bed with a straight spine, eyes closed.  (***Topaz usually climbs into my lap at this point and purrrrrrrrrs***) I hold the crystal in 1 or both palms comfortably. With crystal in hand I’ll launch into several Energetic Hygiene Exercises:

    4. Organizing my energy: I’ve heard several metaphysical teachers teach this technique with some slight differences. Here’s how I do it. As I take a DEEEEEP inhale I’ll say to myself: “I call back all my energy to me.” (while visualizing any lost bits of scattered energy floating back to me & thunking into place where they belong…like a magnet attracting iron filings). Then with a full exhale, expelling all the air out of my lungs I say to myself, “And I release any energy that is not my own.” And I visualize anything that I’ve picked up in my energy field being released. And finally I say “I am now whole.” And I visualize my body’s aura cleansed & glowing. 🙂

    5. Now it’s time for my Energetic Shower. I visualize & sense the crystal in my hand beaming energy up to me (this energy is like sparkling glowing rays of light with rainbow twinkles in it…you can visualize it any way you like but this is what I see) + flowing through my body, releasing out the top of my head at my crown chakra & then gently flowing back down around me like a fountain…then flowing back up under and through my root chakra in a continuous loop. I actually visualize it around me like a twinkling flowing egg-shape of light flowing out & around & around. I do that for about 30 seconds. Longer if I really feel I need it. Because sometimes you just do.

    6. While still seated & holding my crystal now I send energy to whatever crystal grids I have set up at the time. I usually have a couple going in another room of the house so I simply visualize it and beam energy to it. (I usually visualize this beam as neon red energy….like a softly glowing laser beam. I’ve tried changing the color in my mind’s eye but it’s always red & I cannot change it. I’m curious what you see if you try this). It’s very quick. Takes about 5 seconds. It’s just a little crystal grid TLC.

    7. Next, in my mind, I’ll go through my list of things to be grateful for. There are many but I’ll usually think of 3. If it’s a day where I can’t think of much…you know those days, I’ll think of how I’m grateful for the bed I’m sleeping in, the air I’m breathing & the things or beings that surround me. You can always think of something, Jelly Bean. 😉

    8. Next I’ll think about what I’m currently working on manifesting in my life. I usually have a larger goal or two that I’m working on bringing into my reality, something that I’m deeply committed to; big life-changing goals & ambitions. I’m a Capricorn, don’t you know? 😉 So I’ll spend 30 seconds visualizing in detail my manifestation in full bloom, as if it’s already materialized. BOOOOM!

    9. Then I do my five-minute journal entries.

    Now I’m not one for free-form journaling…at all. I LOVE this journal b/c it’s very to the point, tells you exactly what to write and let’s you get it done quickly. It also gives you some inspiration for the day in the form of a motivational quote or a little challenge.

    You complete it each morning (gets me off on the right foot for the day, sets my goals in sight and even gives me another assist with my manifesting) as well as each night (so I can do a quick re-cap & reminds me again to be grateful)….so nourishing to the spirit.

    How do I remember to do it every morning & night?

    I keep it right near my bed with a pen on top of it…always ready to go. That’s the key to remembering to use it & do it…seeing it right there when you wake up.

    10. Lastly, I’ll do 1 oracle card pull for the day. I usually switch out between 2 different decks that I keep by my bed side:  Doreen Virtue’s Magical Mermaids and Dolphin Oracle Cards and her Angel Therapy Oracle Cards. I usually have a crystal sitting on top of the deck to lend its energy & then I’ll just choose one card sight unseen to receive a positive message, theme or direction for the day.

    And that’s it.

    Seems like a lot of steps when I write it out like this, but really I have this all memorized now and it all takes me between 5-7 min. Tops.

    I’ve been following this routine for over five years now & I will NEVER go without this morning ritual.
    I’ve accomplished way too much and have seen too many positive results (is that even possible?!) by sticking to it. These morning practices seem to be my secret weapon to getting through challenging days. They’re what give me the self-assuredness, grace & strength to cope in the face of challenges & they’re what I give credit to when I have those amazing days.

    Quick, practical, sparkly and totally doable. Believe me!

    Navigating Depression; How Crystals Can Help

    At one time or another, I’d guess that everyone has been touched by depression.

    Some of us end up battling with it more than others.

    I personally know depression from all sides. I’ve experienced it myself & have had several close family members who’ve had to deal with it.

    I know that it’s debilitating & it can make you anxious b/c you’re so desperate to just get out of that feeling of hopelessness. There are many different levels & shades of depression & all may need to be dealt with differently.

    BUT whatever method is your chosen method to help heal & deal, I feel any sound holistic healthy approach can be amplified & enhanced through the use of energy work & crystals. So this is the perfect spot for my…

    BORING DISCLAIMER: I think you already know that I’m not a doctor & am not giving medical advice. I feel crystals should be used as a compliment to & not as a replacement for regular medical and/or psychological care & consultation.

    Here’s a recent question I received:

    Q: I’ve been searching all over the internet for depression specific crystal suggestions.  Do you have a go-to crystal prescription for depression?

    Good Question!  Let’s dive in …

    Crystals for Depression
    Now the first suggestion I have is a mineral.  As I teach in my Certified Crystal Healer Course, all minerals are crystals at the microscopic level…even if you can’t see the crystals with the naked eye. So this pick, it’s a common one.  Most of us have it in one way, in one form of jewelry or another…
    Yellow Gold
    Yellow gold is great for busting us out of depression. It has a very strong male energy and along with that strong-push-male energy, it has a very motivating kind of energy, which is usually just what we need to get us out of that depressed feeling.
    Ocean Jasper
    In the above video, I have ocean jasper in this nice little pendant coupled with peridot.

    Ocean Jasper is great for coping with change.

    Many times big changes in our lives are what precipitates or causes depression. Ocean Jasper gives you the strength to cope with that change.

    It’s also is about bringing in that element of water; it has a lot of water energy so it’s about renewal.  If you need to renew what’s going on in your life, to get over this depression period, then ocean jasper helps bring in that washing away cleansing and renewal energy.
    Citrine
    Citrine is a commonly-recommended crystal for depression. It’s one that I’ve talked about often. Citrine comes in handy for a lot of life’s little curve balls and it’s known as a “happy stone”.

    It helps bring in a happy sunny disposition; happy energy. It doesn’t need to be a natural Citrine like these shown below:

    You can choose to work with the heat-treated variety just as well…

    I do always say, though, that the natural citrine packs a way more powerful punch than the treated variety. I’ve talk about that before so you can check out some of my other videos on citrine and why it’s heated and what that does.

    It’s not a bad thing though at all.
    Amber
    I can’t recommend this one enough.

    However, I do have to caution that it is becoming relatively difficult to find natural true amber.

    I was given an amber gift and it turned out to be a resin, it was totally plastic. 🙁 So again, here’s a link to my blog post on how to tell the difference between real amber and fake amber.

    So anyway…amber is wonderful for chasing the blues away.

    Amber helps with S.A.D.; seasonal affective disorder. Many of us who experience a lack of sunlight or lack of vitamin D fall into a winter depression during the colder winter months…most especially if you live in a climate where the winter season is very extreme or long. So if you do fall victim to that perhaps wearing some amber jewelry (authentic amber jewelry) can really help you out with the S.A.D. and coping with that.
    Rose Quartz
    My next pick for working through depression is Rose Quartz and I recently did a video all about rose quartz.

    Rose quartz is wonderful for any kind of emotional healing, compassion, and just general “feel great” energy. ♥
    Tiger’s Eye
    And my last pick for crystals and stones to work with your depression is tiger’s eye. In my video you’ll notice I’m actually wearing some tiger’s eye rings. ?

    Tiger’s eye gives us strength & it helps us balance in the extremes.  You know, if you’re really having a hard bout of depression if you’re in the really extreme lows of the lows, tiger’s eye is a good one to go to.

    It’s also got a very protective quality, giving you the strength that you need to help balance out so that you’re not in the throes of the extremes.  It’s a great stone to work with for someone affected by bipolar disorder; that is dealing with the extremes (extreme highs and extreme lows).
    Now Let’s TAWK SCIENCE!
    In a scientific experiment published in 1993, a quartz crystal presented to depressed test subjects improved long-term healing when compared to a placebo fake glass crystal.

    70% continued improvement with the quartz crystal vs. 30% continued improvement with those presented with the placebo. BOOO-YAH!

    This is HUGE!

    That’s actually 2x as good as antidepressants…w/o the nasty side effects. Not saying that you should dump your antidepressants (as they do have their place) but to have a powerful tool available to you like that in the form of a crystal?! HUGE.

    First, I want to be sure to add in the non-crystal tips that I feel you should tap into alongside crystal healing b/c it’s recommend over & over again…& I know it worked for me:

    • Get regular exercise, consistently. Get those endorphins flowing. Helps so much with hormone balancing! I know it may feel like the very last thing you want to do, but trust me…it helps so very much!
    • Get your hormones checked & safely balanced with a natural bio-identical alternative (especially if you’re in hormone-decline years {can start as early as age 35}…yes, this applies to males also!)
    • If you tend towards a lack of sleep, get caught up. Makes a big difference.
    • Eat clean! Eating junk is only hurting you, so clean up that diet.

    Depression-Busting Crystal Tips
    1. Crystal MeditationSelf-Medicate? No, Self-Meditate! Grab your fav. crystal from my above list, put on a guided meditation (like this one) and go relax for about 15 min. I guarantee you’ll feel much better afterwards.

    2. Adopt good sleep habits with the help of crystals

    3. Have a Berry Banana Depression Busting Smoothie at least 4 times/week (Great for mood boosting & energy!); High in vitamin C, omega 3, fiber, anti-oxidants, amino acids, protein & potassium, all of which help to boost your brain function & beat the blues away.

    Ingredients:

    • 1/2 Cup Organic Frozen Berries
    • 1/2 Cup Citrine Gem Elixir Water (just drop a citrine stone into distilled water overnight)
    • 1 Small Organic Banana
    • 1 tsp colloidal gold
    • 1 Tbsp. organic local (if possible) raw honey
    • 1 Tbsp. silica (yep, same stuff quartz crystals are made of!)
    • 1 Tbsp. local (if possible) Bee Pollen
    • 2 Tbsp. Hemp Protein Powder

     

    4. Good Mood Mojo Bag: Work with a chosen crystal from above to kill the ANTs (automatic negative thoughts; coined by Dr. Daniel Amen) that fuel depression.

    Negative thinking patterns provide the gas for anxiety & depression, not to mention that thoughts become things! Eeeek. Create a mojo kit just for this! Grab a little bag of some sort, add in a crystal or 2 then add in some Jasmine, Roman Chamomile, Mandarin essential oils along with a mix of lemon balm & lavender herbs. Carry it around with you in your pocket.

    BAM! You’ll see. 😉

    5. Anti-Depression Gem Elixir Tea (with any herbs…if you’re taking any antidepressants be sure to check with your Dr. first!):

    Ingredients:

    • Fill a small tea infuser ball with…
    • St. John’s Wort organic herb
    • Siberian Ginseng organic herb
    • Citrine & Tiger’s Eye tumbled stones…yep, plop them right in a few minutes after you’ve made your tea so it’s not too hot.
    • Optional: sweeten it up a bit with some Raw Organic Honey

    6. Blues-Busting Stress Release Bath: Soak it up with a few drops of lavender essential oil, then drop in an amber, rose quartz & citrine tumbled stones. Ahhhh, relaxing & mood-boosting.

    Easy Gem Elixir! + Magical Mermaid Crystal Tea

    I decided to make this video b/c how I do gem elixirs has become HOT Crystal Topic as of late (lots questions coming in for this):

    How to make a super-easy gem elixir to tote along with you…

    Many of you have been asking me for more details on how I make my easy-peasy drinkable gem elixirs & the NEW water bottle I so enjoy using to do this.

    I used to recommend other bottles & gadgets with more elaborate designs (some were drop-dead-plop-your-whole-paycheck-down-gorgeous) & definitely more beautiful to look at…but if you know me, I’m Ms. Practical.

    So after using those other options for a while I let them keep falling away as, either I discovered something I didn’t like about them…OR I discovered more practical options that could better fit into my every day life. 😉

    So as I explain in my above video, I simply choose a NON-TOXIC stone I want to work with (preferably one with a Mohs Hardness of 5 or more so it doesn’t slowly dissolve in the water) & plop it into the water in my new handy water bottle.

    That’s it!

    This is the water bottle I’ve been using as of late:

    I then take the water I’ve infused the crystal energy  from my water bottle and use it for all sorts of other concoctions…like this Magical Mermaid Tea! Don’t you want to make some??? Come on. You know you wanna dazzle up your day mermaid style. It’s easy!

    Magical Mermaid Tea Recipe
    Ingredients

    • dried organic hibiscus flowers…of course!
    • dried organic rosehips
    • dried organic pineapple chunks
    • dried organic coconut
    • 1-2 drops natural organic vanilla extract
    • 1 tsp. organic extra virgin coconut oil (keep stirring as you drink to keep it blended in)
    • all steeped in blue lace agate gem elixir water (made as shown above then heated in tea kettle)
    • Optional: Mermaid Mug from Weeki Wachee Springs in FL!
