Crystal Bath Therapy | Immediate Energetic-Hygiene Fix

Ever hear of a crystal water bath?

Let me fill you in.

Recently, I realized that my third chakra, my solar plexus, needed to be re-calibrated. (I discussed the circumstances surrounding that in my latest newsletter). It’s underactive at the moment; very out of sorts for me actually and therefore, really disconcerting too. If you’d like to find out more about the science behind crystals + chakras, you’ll want to start here with a classic blog post I have on that. So, I was getting ready to do a solar plexus crystal bath and thought to myself,
“This is a great topic to share about and explain why a crystal bath is a highly effective and immediate energetic hygiene-fix!”
A water soak with your chosen crystals is an excellent way to work with them. At the same time, you’re also creating your own relaxing spa experience.

The Science
Now, let me explain why I feel putting stones in the tub (with water) can be so powerful.

It’s an easy and efficient way to infuse your auric field with their vibrational frequencies; to help balance chakras, influence certain energies or to help manifest certain things.

See, all matter emits electromagnetic frequencies, as do crystals, as do people. Those frequencies travel, just as electricity does (in the form of electrons). so we have something that’s a good electrical conductor; like me; a person.

GEEK ALERT: all living things are excellent electrical conductors (something that allows those electrons to flow with less resistance), hence why you don’t want to be out in the middle of a lightning storm! Metals are also good electrical conductors. Some things are better conductors than others. Gold, copper, silver are really good metals for this. And then we have water; water is also an excellent electrical conductor. The opposite would be a poor energy conductor (aka insulators); such as glass, plastic, rubber, air, and wood (not a living thing any longer).

So, we’ve got water + me; two effective energy conductors. Plus, water is highly programmable (will get to that in a bit).
Crystal Bath Frequencies
Crystals and stones emit their own individual resonant frequencies. Now with water being a good energy conductor, those frequencies are going to travel with less resistance and then come in contact with me, being another good energy conductor.  The less resistance, the easier it is for the energy to flow, therefore, that results in more efficient amplification of the vibrational frequencies.

So, with less resistance, the easier it is for my electromagnetic field be influenced by the frequencies of the stones I have in the water. In some ways, it’s more effective for us than a simple crystal meditation sitting on the cushion because you’re surrounded by water; an added powerful conductor.
Programmability of Water
We’re made up of about 70% water, just like our planet. Dr. Masaru Emoto’s research with water molecules has shown us that water is highly programmable. Through his experiments, he was able to show us that our thoughts and intentions have an effect on the molecular structure of water. When our intentions are positively directed towards the water, the water molecules are physically altered in a beneficial way.

(I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Emoto at a book signing shortly before his passing.)

Dr. Emoto noted these positive changes can be achieved through prayer, music or even by attaching labels to a container of water. The Institute of Hearth Math has confirmed these findings with waters programmed with prayers and healing intent from holy places around in various parts of the world.
This research shows us that water is an easily influenced energy transformer and an ideal delivery system.
This got me thinking if we’re beneficially affected by good intentions, compassion, kindness, and meditation due to the fact that we’re mostly made up of water; a highly programmable material?
So, to sum up…
Being that water and living things are such excellent conductors of energy and both so easily programmable, it seems very logical to me that combining the three (crystals + water + living being) will result in the vibrational frequencies of crystals and stones conducting energy with less resistance, thereby more easily influencing us!
Crystal Bath Recipe
The only three necessary items are:

  • You
  • Tub of Water
  • Crystal(s) of your choosing (following safety guideline below)
  • Each of the following steps is optional:

    • Fill the tub and add in some salts (Epsom and/or Himalayan Sea Salt). If you want more info on why it’s beneficial to add salts to your bath, I highly recommend you check out this book. Truly eye-opening! Be informed & get protected against EMF.
    • Choose a music selection specifically written to entrain your energy to help balance the chakra or achieve your personal goal.  Some music is expertly written to influence specific electromagnetic frequencies, connect with specific light codes, and can even be based on sacred geometry and numeric patterns. For my solar plexus, my go-to track is this one (I just keep it on repeat since it’s only 6 min. long).
    • Place your chosen stones in the water, but first… there are a few things to consider when choosing your stones. First, I  choose according to non-toxicity of the stone and next, because you don’t want your stone getting slowly dissolved or ruined by the water, you want to be sure it has a minimum Mohs Hardness no less than 6. Here’s a great resource for looking up the Mohs Hardness and other info about various crystals and minerals.  (If you’re really into learning more about the Mohs Hardness scale and some cool mineral ID tips, you might want to check out my Crystal Savvy Class Elective.) So, for my solar plexus chakra, I chose yellow calcite. It “ticks all the boxes”.
    • Next, you may choose to add 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils (no synthetics). They need to be safe for topical use as well as gentle on the skin. For solar plexus work, I usually choose lemon and/or peppermint. But only 1 or 2 drops because these can be irritating to the skin. Please do your own due diligence here; research, test and use caution!
    • I also love candles with a bath like this and I usually make my own chakra candles or you could go with something like this and place them around the tub. In this case, I’d be using a yellow candle (in alignment with the solar plexus chakra) that may also have essential oils and crystal chips embedded within. The candles allow me to layer in a few more similar vibrational frequencies to add to the total effect and further amp up the effectiveness of my chakra balancing.

    More Creative Options
You can choose to adjust the frequency of your water and program it in a specific way using a tuner like this free one (528Hz is known as the Love Frequency):

    https://youtu.be/5qBiGIAShpo

You can be highly creative in the types of crystal baths you can do.

I share a recipe for a Self Love Ritual Bath here.

I’ve seen some highly specialized crystal bath salts. For instance, You can add those little gemstone chips they sell in tiny bottles into a small muslin bag. Then mix in half Epsom salts, half sea salt or Himalayan salt. Next, toss in some herbs that align with the frequency of the chakra you’re looking to balance or with the intention you’d like to manifest.

I’d love to hear your ideas or if you try your own Crystal Therapy Bath; how did it go? Did you like the results? Please share in the comments below.

Navigating Depression; How Crystals Can Help

Hibiscus Moon Crystal Healer, healing, health, Videos 36 Comments

At one time or another, I’d guess that everyone has been touched by depression.

Some of us end up battling with it more than others.

I personally know depression from all sides. I’ve experienced it myself & have had several close family members who’ve had to deal with it.

I know that it’s debilitating & it can make you anxious b/c you’re so desperate to just get out of that feeling of hopelessness. There are many different levels & shades of depression & all may need to be dealt with differently.

BUT whatever method is your chosen method to help heal & deal, I feel any sound holistic healthy approach can be amplified & enhanced through the use of energy work & crystals. So this is the perfect spot for my…

BORING DISCLAIMER: I think you already know that I’m not a doctor & am not giving medical advice. I feel crystals should be used as a compliment to & not as a replacement for regular medical and/or psychological care & consultation.

    Here’s a recent question I received:

Q: I’ve been searching all over the internet for depression specific crystal suggestions.  Do you have a go-to crystal prescription for depression?

Good Question!  Let’s dive in …

    Crystals for Depression
Now the first suggestion I have is a mineral.  As I teach in my Certified Crystal Healer Course, all minerals are crystals at the microscopic level…even if you can’t see the crystals with the naked eye. So this pick, it’s a common one.  Most of us have it in one way, in one form of jewelry or another…
    Yellow Gold
Yellow gold is great for busting us out of depression. It has a very strong male energy and along with that strong-push-male energy, it has a very motivating kind of energy, which is usually just what we need to get us out of that depressed feeling.
    Ocean Jasper
In the above video, I have ocean jasper in this nice little pendant coupled with peridot.

Ocean Jasper is great for coping with change.

Many times big changes in our lives are what precipitates or causes depression. Ocean Jasper gives you the strength to cope with that change.

It’s also is about bringing in that element of water; it has a lot of water energy so it’s about renewal.  If you need to renew what’s going on in your life, to get over this depression period, then ocean jasper helps bring in that washing away cleansing and renewal energy.
    Citrine
Citrine is a commonly-recommended crystal for depression. It’s one that I’ve talked about often. Citrine comes in handy for a lot of life’s little curve balls and it’s known as a “happy stone”.

It helps bring in a happy sunny disposition; happy energy. It doesn’t need to be a natural Citrine like these shown below:

You can choose to work with the heat-treated variety just as well…

I do always say, though, that the natural citrine packs a way more powerful punch than the treated variety. I’ve talk about that before so you can check out some of my other videos on citrine and why it’s heated and what that does.

It’s not a bad thing though at all.
    Amber
I can’t recommend this one enough.

However, I do have to caution that it is becoming relatively difficult to find natural true amber.

I was given an amber gift and it turned out to be a resin, it was totally plastic. 🙁 So again, here’s a link to my blog post on how to tell the difference between real amber and fake amber.

So anyway…amber is wonderful for chasing the blues away.

Amber helps with S.A.D.; seasonal affective disorder. Many of us who experience a lack of sunlight or lack of vitamin D fall into a winter depression during the colder winter months…most especially if you live in a climate where the winter season is very extreme or long. So if you do fall victim to that perhaps wearing some amber jewelry (authentic amber jewelry) can really help you out with the S.A.D. and coping with that.
    Rose Quartz
My next pick for working through depression is Rose Quartz and I recently did a video all about rose quartz.

Rose quartz is wonderful for any kind of emotional healing, compassion, and just general “feel great” energy. ♥
    Tiger’s Eye
And my last pick for crystals and stones to work with your depression is tiger’s eye. In my video you’ll notice I’m actually wearing some tiger’s eye rings. ?

Tiger’s eye gives us strength & it helps us balance in the extremes.  You know, if you’re really having a hard bout of depression if you’re in the really extreme lows of the lows, tiger’s eye is a good one to go to.

It’s also got a very protective quality, giving you the strength that you need to help balance out so that you’re not in the throes of the extremes.  It’s a great stone to work with for someone affected by bipolar disorder; that is dealing with the extremes (extreme highs and extreme lows).
    Now Let’s TAWK SCIENCE!
In a scientific experiment published in 1993, a quartz crystal presented to depressed test subjects improved long-term healing when compared to a placebo fake glass crystal.

70% continued improvement with the quartz crystal vs. 30% continued improvement with those presented with the placebo. BOOO-YAH!

    This is HUGE!

That’s actually 2x as good as antidepressants…w/o the nasty side effects. Not saying that you should dump your antidepressants (as they do have their place) but to have a powerful tool available to you like that in the form of a crystal?! HUGE.

First, I want to be sure to add in the non-crystal tips that I feel you should tap into alongside crystal healing b/c it’s recommend over & over again…& I know it worked for me:

    • Get regular exercise, consistently. Get those endorphins flowing. Helps so much with hormone balancing! I know it may feel like the very last thing you want to do, but trust me…it helps so very much!
    • Get your hormones checked & safely balanced with a natural bio-identical alternative (especially if you’re in hormone-decline years {can start as early as age 35}…yes, this applies to males also!)
    • If you tend towards a lack of sleep, get caught up. Makes a big difference.
    • Eat clean! Eating junk is only hurting you, so clean up that diet.

    Depression-Busting Crystal Tips
    1. Crystal MeditationSelf-Medicate? No, Self-Meditate! Grab your fav. crystal from my above list, put on a guided meditation (like this one) and go relax for about 15 min. I guarantee you’ll feel much better afterwards.

    2. Adopt good sleep habits with the help of crystals

    3. Have a Berry Banana Depression Busting Smoothie at least 4 times/week (Great for mood boosting & energy!); High in vitamin C, omega 3, fiber, anti-oxidants, amino acids, protein & potassium, all of which help to boost your brain function & beat the blues away.

    Ingredients:

    • 1/2 Cup Organic Frozen Berries
    • 1/2 Cup Citrine Gem Elixir Water (just drop a citrine stone into distilled water overnight)
    • 1 Small Organic Banana
    • 1 tsp colloidal gold
    • 1 Tbsp. organic local (if possible) raw honey
    • 1 Tbsp. silica (yep, same stuff quartz crystals are made of!)
    • 1 Tbsp. local (if possible) Bee Pollen
    • 2 Tbsp. Hemp Protein Powder

    [thrive_2step id='21840'][/thrive_2step]

    4. Good Mood Mojo Bag: Work with a chosen crystal from above to kill the ANTs (automatic negative thoughts; coined by Dr. Daniel Amen) that fuel depression.

Negative thinking patterns provide the gas for anxiety & depression, not to mention that thoughts become things! Eeeek. Create a mojo kit just for this! Grab a little bag of some sort, add in a crystal or 2 then add in some Jasmine, Roman Chamomile, Mandarin essential oils along with a mix of lemon balm & lavender herbs. Carry it around with you in your pocket.

BAM! You’ll see. 😉This recipe is also in my pdf. Did you download it yet?

    [thrive_2step id='21840'][/thrive_2step]

    5. Anti-Depression Gem Elixir Tea (with any herbs…if you’re taking any antidepressants be sure to check with your Dr. first!):

    Ingredients:

    • Fill a small tea infuser ball with…
    • St. John’s Wort organic herb
    • Siberian Ginseng organic herb
    • Citrine & Tiger’s Eye tumbled stones…yep, plop them right in a few minutes after you’ve made your tea so it’s not too hot.
    • Optional: sweeten it up a bit with some Raw Organic Honey

This recipe is also in my pdf. Did you download it yet? Hmmm?

    [thrive_2step id='21840'][/thrive_2step]

    6. Blues-Busting Stress Release Bath: Soak it up with a few drops of lavender essential oil, then drop in an amber, rose quartz & citrine tumbled stones. Ahhhh, relaxing & mood-boosting.

I hope that these tips can help you or someone you love navigate some of the challenges depression can bring.

I’d love to hear what you think of my Crystal Picks in the comments below + any other ideas you’ve had success with in combating the blues. Thank you for sharing in the comments!

Indulge in a Crystal Bath for Self-Mastery with Nuummite

Hibiscus Moon Crystal Goodness, Crystal Healing, Everyday/Personal Stuffs, stress relief, Videos 11 Comments

Let’s talk about the amazing goodness of a Crystal Bath: the ultimate in energetically power packed sparkly relaxation!

In this video I’m sharing my recipe for a Crystal Bath for Self Mastery & Claiming Personal Power

I haven’t done a video from my bath tub “sacred space” in quite a while.

I was just getting ready to do a bath for self-mastery & claiming my personal power so I thought I’d take a moment & share what I’m up to with you. I apologize for the quality here as I didn’t bust out the DSLR to do this…it was really quick and in the moment.

I’ve been going through a paradigm shift of how I am doing things while also making more of an effort to connect with my personal magic.

So I got to thinking what stones or other energies do I want layer in for this bath, for the intention & specific purpose of connecting with my own personal magic.
    Nuummite
I decided to work with Nuummite stones.

Nuummite is a black sparkly iridescent stone & hails from Greenland. Not a very common stone at all, it’s a mix of many different unique  minerals containing lithium-bearing amphibole, magnesium iron silicate, anthophyllite & gedrite.

What’s really cool about it is that it’s one of the oldest stones on our planet; estimated at about 3 billion years old. Yeah. BILLION, not million.

Nuummite has a very gentle energy. So if you really want to get an intense effect from it, you’ll want to amplify it with other crystals & clear quartz is ideal for doing that.
    My Nuummite Crystal Bath Recipe
You don’t need to have ALL these ingredients. Any combination will work, but the more you do have, the more effective. Perhaps you can think of some other things to add in here as well to exponentiate even further?

    • 2 Nuummite Stones; they’re great for connecting with your personal magic for self-mastery and cleaning your personal power.
    • 1 Clear Quartz Crystal to amplify the energy.
    • 3-5 drops Lemon/Citron Essential Oil (NOT IN THE BATH) but in an oil burner or diffuser. Any brand will do, but I look for high quality, non-synthetic, fair-trade & organic. 🙂
    • 1 drop Clove Essential Oil (again in an oil burner or diffuser) & about 3 drops directly in the bath
    • 1-2 cups bath salts containing magnesium sulfate
    • I chose a guided meditation for self-mastery; so perfect to listen to while taking my bath & soaking in the energies from the Nuummite. This is that meditation. 🙂

Again, my goal with adding the Quartz Crystal was to amplify the energy of the Nuummite stones.
    Layer the Energetic Frequencies
I like to layer in several resonant, yet similar energetic frequencies so they can harmonize & exponentiate or amplify each other. For example, here I added in some aromatherapy oils that are complimentary in energy to my purpose & intention.

Caution:  I did not add the lemon oil to my bath b/c I’ve learned through experience that freakin’ burns! Steer clear, Chick Pea.

Instead, I’m burning the oils in my oil burner – my sacred geometry oil burner.  (((always layering the energies, this time w/ sacred geometry ☺))). **I don’t know where this oil burner came from or I’d link to it. It was a gift, but if you know, please post the link in the comments below!**

I added 1 drop of Clove essential oil to my oil burner.  I also added a few more drops of Clove directly in my actual bath water so I can more easily resonate with the energies.

Why is it so powerful to put gems & oils directly in your bath water?  Click here for a Classic Video + Blog I created on that.
    Mineral Magic
I always like to add in some bath salts containing Magnesium Sulfate b/c I like to connect with the mineral Magnesium in Epsom Salt Solution for super-relaxation. If you’d like to geek out & dive deeper into why Magnesium is so great for your health you can read more on that here.

And for a lil’ more luxuriating, I’m adding a hydrating face mask, by Karuna that someone recommended to me & said was really good. So I had to try that too. {NOTE:  I LOVED this thing! Uber-hydrating and plumping for my hormone-challenged-middle-aged skin. I should get a case of this stuff!)

Necessary Self Nurture Time: Time to connect with my crystals & do the inner work.

So make it a priority, grab your crystals (+ essential oils) and Soak it UP!

Do you ever draw a crystal bath for yourself?  What crystals do you use & for what intention?  Share in the comments below to inspire each other & indulge! Would love to hear about what you’re up to. 🙂
