I am finally done transferring posts from old blog to this one. That was no easy job. Now the time jumping around will end. I just didn’t like the idea of having some of my older posts residing somewhere else. I’ve been blogging since 2001 in one place or another. My posts may not be numerous but they go back to the beginning of blog-time, so there’s a lot of history there for me. I like to look back on them from time to time like an old diary. I may get rid of the really old ones though.
I really like this blog site so much better. Happy I’m here and grateful for all the new blog-friends and readers. 🙂
Here is my beachy mermaid mailbox I’ve been working on! DH and I have fallen in love with it. 🙂 This very same mailbox was so ugly before. Its the same 1963 mailbox that came with the house. This is how mail gets delivered to Mermaids. Teeeeheeee!
Once again, all I did for the Full Moon was cleanse a few of my rocks & crystals. I only did the ones I’ve been using the most lately.
I did admire the Full Moon quite a bit since it was just so gorgeous on that night! LOVELY!
Thanks to both Sage Moonstone’s Hocus Pocus blog and Little Faerie Tales’ blog , I have been inspired in a big way!
After reading these two posts a fire was lit under me that touched my mermaid desires. Let me explain a bit. I have had a mermaid motif for my master bedroom bath in mind for some time to go along with my beachy theme in the bedroom, but I wasn’t sure how to go about it exactly. I had this website bookmarked for things to buy and make and had my eye on this Mermaid sign for about 18 months. Then I read the 2 posts mentioned above and everything clicked together…not to mention that Little Faerie Tales had the same exact mermaid graphic in her post! At that moment I placed the order for the sign and set off to the craft store to buy the materials. Here is the finished shell garland that I was making in an earlier post. This video shows my bedroom and bath with 2 projects inspired by those 2 extremely creative and talented women. Their projects are much prettier but I think mine didn’t turn out too far off the mark and they make me so happy to just look at them: a tissue box and a little treasure chest. They inspire me to get more creative, do more projects, go in new directions, so I am really truly grateful to both ladies and their blogs.
