2018 Highlights

The first show of many separate shows I mention in the above vlog is the Kino Show at the Kino Sports Complex – it’s one of the larger shows, kind of away from some of the other ones off Ajo Way (yes, gorgeous ajoite is named after this area where it was first discovered!):

The Kino Show has literally EVERYTHING from all around the world (not just crystals…rugs, carvings, statuary, clothing, etc)!

This year I went back to this show 2 or 3 times (lost count) and I did a livestream from there towards the end of the show season to show you how EASY it is to get great deals on crystals (a bit of gentle haggling)… because sellers want to unload so they’re not carting all the heavy stones home.

The large crystal cluster featured below was dug at Ron Coleman’s Mine in Arkansas. He usually has two locations at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. But his BEST OF THE BEST specimens are always located at his location at the Mineral and Fossil Co-op on Oracle Rd where this photo was taken.

I hope I was able to capture just a sliver of the mega-energy and excitement from this year’s show for you to enjoy.

Hey, I’m thinking of also editing up some video from our side-trip to the Bisbee Turquoise Mining District out in Arizona too. Please let me know in the comments below if you’d be interested in that and I’ll get on it! [Did it. 🙂 You can check it out here.]

Have you experienced the unparalleled crystalline experience of the Tucson Gem Show yet?  If so, I’d love to hear about that in the comments below. What did you think?

Crystal Blessings,
